Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our paralegal services business has responded to local public health unit guidelines by digitizing documents and rendering most services online or by telephone. We understand that not all clients have the ability to participate virtually in our legal system. Therefore, we will assess clients’ needs on a case-by-case basis and render services in-person when absolutely necessary and only in accordance with our local public health unit’s guidelines.
We offer unbundled legal services to help you get the results you want at an affordable price. Please note that fees are exclusive of disbursements.

| Consultation A consultation is a thirty-minute meeting either over the telephone or over video chat to gather basic information related to the client’s legal matter and identify possible next steps. This is not an opportunity to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the client’s case. | FREE |
| Intake interview An intake interview is a prerequisite for obtaining a legal opinion. It is an opportunity for the client to share the facts and evidence of their case with our office It is also an opportunity for our office to ask the client questions about the case. | $40.00+ |
| Legal opinion A legal opinion is a minimum two-page document establishing the facts of the client’s case, identifying the issues of the client’s case, discussing the issues of the client’s case, and describing options for proceeding with the case. A legal opinion memorandum shall be drafted only after an intake interview. | $80.00+ |
| Criminal record suspension (pardon) application A record suspension application fee will be billed at a flat rate of $100.00 plus $644.88 for the Record Suspension Application Processing Fee. Learn more about record suspensions. | $100.00 |
| Agent An agent fee is billed when we appear on a client’s behalf at a court or tribunal to request an adjournment. | $120.00 |
| Tribunal hearing A tribunal hearing fee is billed when we represent a client at a tribunal hearing (e.g. application to terminate a tenancy and evict a tenant at Landlord and Tenant Board). Preparation will be billed at an hourly basis in addition to the daily fee of $120.00. | $120.00+ |
